What we collect
We do not require accounts and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers. The data we may process is:
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time), used for security and to keep the site running, and deleted after no more than 30 days
- Emails you choose to send us, including your name, address and message, used only to reply and kept for up to 12 months
The suggestion tool on our Say Hello page runs entirely in your browser. Text you type there is not transmitted to us unless you send it by email yourself.
Legal bases
We process server logs under our legitimate interest in operating a secure website, and correspondence under our legitimate interest in answering your messages.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf under contracts that protect it. We may disclose information where the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, object to processing and ask us to restrict it. Email us to make a request. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
